Can't seem to post on the original thread so I started this.

when you get enough views you'll get statistics via "insights"
One of mine (a five minute video) has about 4,400 and shows a dramatic drop off in viewers after about 2.30 mins. As I've lost the footage, I cannot re do the video. If I could I would shorten it.
Obviously videos vary greatly but with Google categorising them in 0 - 4 mins, 4 -20 etc, I will probably keep mine down to 3 minutes or below.
