Hi Guys
I'm just in the process of setting up a water fed pole system. I'm really glad I found this forum; there is so much information, it's been really helpful.
Looking at TFR. There seem to be loads of different suppliers and the price varies (on eBay anyway!) - Is there a prefered manufacturer or importantly are there any that should be avoided at all costs as they damage UPVC or seals?
Also what methods are used to apply it to high levels - I was thinking of using an old garden sprayer and breaking apart the lance and putting in a long length of 6mm or 8mm hose and then reconnecting the jet end of the lance with spring clips that could fix, when needed, to the top of my pole.
What do you think? or is there a ready made alternative or better method.
I'd really appreciate your help.
cheers Dave :)

Hello,
We mainly use ecover from gardiners, although it can run expensive, but generally just for everyday algea and traffic residue a non caustic TFR will suffice....try these boys...

As for the application at height we use pressure washers, but what you are doing with a hand sprayer is more than good enough, indeed it is probably more accurate than a PW.
Good luck

Dave - just make sure its non caustic and you should be ok.
i use the fleetclean off ebay - found it to be excellent. your application method sounds good as well.
i use a hand pump garden spayer which reaches 1st floor windows etc ok.
then just spay the brush head for really high stuff - you dont need a lot - i did this facia with one small spay onto the brush

I always put the tfr in my backpack and change the brush over to my brush with fan jets, the mix comes out really well thro the fan jets.
No need to buy a jet washer
