Title: Vac hose query

I have noticed that swimming pool vacuum hose is 1.5inch same as vac hose used for portable extraction carpet cleaners. I have also noticed that it is allot cheaper to buy. Is it the same type of hose or similar and will it do the same job?

Yeah it will do the same job but will last weeks or months then split. its a hard plastic that cracks easy
