Title: Employee costs
Post by: james44 on May 20, 2010, 02:55:29 pm: For those of you that employ! what are the costs of say employees ins,etc how much needs to be set aside for each employee?

this is 30 hours at 5.80 per hour

Salary               174.00
Personal allowance            124.52
Taxable income            49.48
PAYE        20% 9.90
Ee's National Insurance      11%   7.04
Net wages payable            32.54

Er's National Insurance      12.80%   8.19


Cost to the company         182.19
this is there wage puls er NI

so they would pick up 32.54 + 124.52 = 157.06

How would you add holidays? days pay x 28 / 52?
