Title: Conservatory roof
Post by: matt unwin on May 18, 2010, 08:08:18 pm
Hi,
I am reletively new to window cleaning and use just WFP. I have cleaned a couple of conservatory roofs but not really happy with the results. Ie the frame and fenial on the top. I am thinking that I need to use some sort of chemical etc but afraid of contaminating my brush/water supply  . Can anyone tell me which product to use and the correct process as I am due to quote for a fasica/gutter and conservatory roof job .  Also what sort of price would you charge for a standard size say 10ft x 10ft conservatory roof.

Thanks in advanced

Matt

Hi Matt,
Liam here, hope you are well ,tfr[traffic film remover] sprayed on with a sprayer first is what most people seem to use.Personally i use the pure water very hot seems to work very well.I would be charging about eighty euro for that conservatory ,
                                          regards Liam

Hi Matt

I'm new too but have done a few connie. roofs. Depending on severity of algae and gunk I prespray using a traffic film remover but careful to only spray as much as I can brush and rinse off before it dries. On a warm day it will dry in minutes so be careful as residual streaks can occur.

Hi Matt,

I used deepclean TFR on this, but there are obviously varied choices used by others. This is quite expensive, but it does the job. My theory, its not broke don't fix it...lol
