I had backache earlier on, and the ostiopath sorted it. I put it dow to wand technique, humping machines out of van etc. My van was off the road for a couple of weeks, and back was fine. Now I`ve got it back I can tell the seat is not too clever. Does anyone else have this problem, or use a back rest etc when driving?

I take 1x 1000mg of Cod Liver Oil tablets from Boots everyday.Really helped my aches and pains.Give them a try.

I had problem with shoulder, oesteopath looked at my van seat advised using a cushion at the base of the backrest,to correct poorly designed seat.
Shoulder been ok for ages, still use the cushion, van is transit connect.
Lovely van, poor seats.

Its a Movano. I take cod liver oil every day, and was adviced to use a small cushion, but keeps slipping and is uncomfy, but does the job.

Movano, by VAUXHALL!!
How did I guess??
ALL vauxhall seats give you backache, if you cannot change the van then change the seats!
Our local gas suppliers are getting rid of their vauxhall vans, paying extra for VW vans they think it will save them £000's in saved sick time from bad backs!

I guess it could be a case of what seat suits someone may not suit another.
I do know that the original seat in my 52 plate Citroen Relay is no problem at all with me.

Most seats have little ergonomic design. Many people need to add lumbar cushioning to support the spine and stop creeping ligaments, nerve impingement, disc problems etc.

How do you find the relay? Been looking at relay/boxer but they seem to good to be true (price wise) Have you had any problems? Oh, going back to the post, I ache from head to toe! Nothing to do with van.
Cheers

Hi Justin
I have had the Relay, 52 plate, a little over 2 years and it has about 115,000 miles on it.
No real problems, things go in time. January just gone at its OT it was a wheel bearing that was really noisy that failed. It took the garage a lot of effort to get it replaced cause it had started to weld itself (it was bad).
Excellent starter, havnt got a clue how many mpg I get, just keep feeding it.
I would def have another, or the Pub Boxer as they are the same.
Fiat Ducato is same van but a different engine. Either their own or a Ford so I have heard.
