Hi i am in the market for a new van,i have looked at the transit 330 but they seem to be a bit rusty for the year()3/04)I need the size to carry a 1000 ltr tank .Can anyone tell me the equivelent for other makes(they must have the same capacity)Thanks

the 330 will be your best option
go for an ex bt one. they should be clean and have full history. can't go wrong

the ones i have looked at are ex rac(so very orange,but less nickable im told.)Do you know what the equivelent is in a vivaro?I have read some reviews on the transit and they are not very good!!

nothing better than a transit, touch wood never had a problem with mine, vivaro's have more problems and costly to fix the gear box.
Orange is a great colour ;D

Have been to someone who deals in them and the ones awaiting looking at are all rusty in the same places(wheel arches) I had an older ducato and there was no rust whatsoever!Do you find this to be a common problem?Or is it just something to put up with?

transits have always rusted. I also have a relay same age as transit 03 no rust what so ever on that, but have cost me over 5 grand in repair bills. Transit rust can be sorted for £100 ish not bad at the mo so will get round to doing it in the summer
