Title: TFR on frames
Post by: Sunshine/Cleaning on May 18, 2010, 03:17:51 pm
For those who use TFR on frames, what ratio do you dilute it to or do you use it neat?

Hi

We used to use 1 part TFR to 25 parts water.
Some TFR's are caustic and can cause products to "dull" after cleaning.

Hope this helps

you will rarely get a  dirty upvc frame properly clean with tfr and waterfed brush trust me. use a cream cleaner with a none abrasive pad, then rinse and dry, then ad a wax... fantastic results

I also use the cream cleaner from Morrison’s in the pink bottle ( without bleach)  add a little ammonia about a table spoon. Works very well. I get this from a local hardware shop.
