Title: Speedster waste bag fell off!
Post by: heritagecleaning on May 17, 2010, 09:05:18 pm
As said, at the end of cleaning I found the waste bag had come off and all the crap that was inside it had gone all over the waste tank and some probably through the vac motor.

Is this really bad? I don't really know what to do, if anything. I suppose filling waste tank with water and cleaning it out then refitting the bag, possibly with some tight elastic bands round it.

Many thanks for any suggestions.

Hi Owen

I took mine off 1 week after I bought the machine. Never had any problems without it on and it also must restrict air flow a bit.

Hi Dave

It goes straight in the bin. If you find one that is!!!

Mine went in the bin too after fiddling about trying to fit it back on on day 1  ;D ;D

Don't worry about the crap in the tank, it'll clean, just make sure the gauze with the plastic ball in doesn't get covered in too much crap.

As said you dont need it . If you do insist o putting it back on you need to unscrew the vac cuff outlet from the machine enabling the part the vac bag attaches to to be removed and taken out of the mchine to refit bag then scew back together.

The sepedster is a great machine but is a nightmare to get parts and to find anyone who knows how to fix it properly. My heaters have given me jip for years and i have now given up on them.
