all i ever do is have to deal with maintenance issues wish i was a trad cleaner seem to do more hours faffin rnd having to fix things n put things right than i do actually cleaning windows, cant see the light at the end of the tunnel and its costing a fortune, then i end up losing days waitin for parts to come etc gets on me man boobs i tell ya!!
does anyone else feel like this that it costs you a salary to keep going!!
prob: bought second hand facelift static system set it up running fine prob produced 3000litres of pure water after we emptied the old resin etc now after 3000litres were gettin readings of 200 tds what could be the reason for this sudden leap??? how often should resin be changed?? the water going in is around 190?
egypt on monday thank god need this week away in the sun to get me head together really startin to feel the pressure of running a business now my round is fairly busy, and everything seems to go against ya!!!
thats enuf of my depression lads sorry a problem shared is a problem halved n all that haha

could be the pressure or sumfin, iv got a spare ro unit gna swap that over in a bit shame coz weve got 800litres to get rid of now!!

You have this sort of lark with wfp, go months with every thing hunky doorey and then a couple of bit will need replacing in a week. However it sounds like you have a problem with your ro set up. The water coming out will always be lower than the water coming in, it sounds like something silly is going on like the waste from the ro going to the resin. That's the only reason I can see to get a higher reading out of the resin than what's coming out of the tap.

changed the resin n its dropped again to 002 at lowest reading gna swap the ro units over hopefully that mite work

What is the tds reading after ro but before resin? I have crap pressure, but my 4040 takes it from 320 ish in to 28 after ro.

gav im just gna see wat we can do ourselves first i dont think the di vessel is big enuf really could do with maybe another one to polish it off before it goes in the static its fine if its goin into the new tank in tranny but its the barrels im worried about

This is quite common when the resin is left in the container. What happens is the resin starts to breakdown, and contaminates the water.

job done 000 tds only took 5 hours 3 trips n asda for 3 tools 2 lads 1 new ro membrane new resin 2 mcdonalds latte's thank god thats sorted hometime!!!

Id agree with this, are you sure the waste isnt going tgrough resin and then to tank

sorted now think it just needed new membrane the resin mustve been havin to work harder to clean it
