Post by: Martin ccs on May 17, 2010, 05:09:34 pm
after using many rubbish ones when i worked for a company i never bothered with one when i went out on my own 5 years ago but now i def need one for several shops i now do.

was put off before when i was always given a rubbish one - the mop or blade would get stuck on the pole .........

so basically i have a unger mop n blade so i guess ill get an unger trad pole - my god! there are far to many! which one do i go with???

its for shops about 8 - 12ft high, prob gonna get it from cleaningspot, so which one guys??

i use a small optiloc pole for big plate glass windows.i also have the unger brush and pole hose so i just attach for cleaning the van and/or conny roofs! ;) ;)

ive got the unger teleplus 30m pole as well although i only use the 3 sections(18ft)for most of my work and 4 sections(24ft) for a few commercial.i have an angle adaptor and vise versa.

a few months ago a custy sacked me as she said her son had bought a pole to clean the windows instead so i just chuckled to myself(knowing she would ask me back the next month!).sure enough she asked me back as her son had made a mess of the windows!! ;) ;D ;D ;D

i use a pulex 3parter pole for windows up above conservatorys ,the tip on the pulex pole is a great snug fit on any make  of squeegee or mop . after a year of daily use this pole started to spin on the clamp joint,i read on this forum if you wrap a strip of plastic coke bottle around the clamp fingers this tightens it up as if new,and it works  ;)
