its not so much how fast it comes out but how much comes out, the minimum seems to be 15 litres a minute at around 3000 psi.

thats twice as many litres as the one your looking at, think of it as twice as much weight hitting the stone your cleaning at pretty much the same pressure. = a far superior clean

Been cleaning driveways for over 6 years with 14ltrs/min and 2500 psi with no problems whatsoever.

So the answer to your question is most definitely yes.

Anything over 3000psi and you need to make sure the triggers etc are up to it... gets expensive to go over 3000 and for no apparent reason to do so.

i agree most dirt algie moss build up is superficial and can easily be removed with a lower psi machine

Flow rate is essential too. Less that 12 litres per minute is a waste of time IMO, and realistically 15 or 17 litres per minute will get the job done a lot faster.
I have a 4000 PSI 14 litre per minute machine and a 3000 psi 17 lpm machine,.. I prefer the machine with the higher flow rate. Any tough dirt & I just use the turbo nozzle.
