Title: Car workshop floor degreasing
Post by: Ads on May 17, 2010, 04:53:48 pm
Hi,

We have been asked to carry out the clean of a large workshop floor for one of our customers. The floor is non slip tiles and is very greasy/oily.

I have various options with regards to equipment but need some advise on what chemical would work best. Any advise would be very appreciated.

Thanks

Adam

hi there

ideally you need to use a heavy duty degreaser, which will be an alkaline based product.

Thanks martin,

I understand that I need and alkaline based degreaser but is there an extra strong solution available that will clean ingrained dirt.

Also what cleaning method would you recommend?

Thanks for you help

I've done a few of these for a company who paint foors so the floor has to be totally free from grease.

The method we use is to spray on a citrus degreaser, scrub in with a stiff brush then steam clean with a small mosmatic flat surface cleaner.

Good luck.
