i am getting a brand new van and dont want to make any cock ups. basically im a one man band cleaning windows in rural area. thinking of wfp to clean some of my jobs but will clean many traditionally still due to wooden frames , access and customer choice . i dont want any just pole the lot replies , i respect everyones opinion but not arguing trad v poles anymore as each has its place. anyway what size tank? what size van? ro or di? which company should i buy wfp system from? any advice would be welcome. just to say im just interested in keeping my current custys happen , not looking to expand or employ as im happy with earnings and dont want to step on any other windowcleaners (WFP OR TRAD) toes.

wot van as you nead to get tank thats with in wate limet of your van ,its best to get the largest for van saves biying biger later ,my ro and di in garage king span insuaion ronwd it for frost ibc out side ,sub pump to trance fer to van ,bordxe hidera pole 17 ft for 95 percent of work use and abuse all day iv got 25 hidra for thee story and sl 56 but sl56 for later ,gardenas for rest of your stuf .

call both of these on monday and tell them what you do and they will inform you WHAT YOU NEED and not what you think you need, getting it wrong cost time and money.

cheers ian pure freedom looks good . just wondering if u think new style berlingo with 850 payload has enough room for a 350-400litre system

As for tank size, plan for your biggest day. You can always half fill a big tank but you can't double fill a small one!!
I'd say a 500 or 650 litre tank would last 8-10 hours for 1 man if you are careful.

if your out in the sticks may not want to drive a big van about;
small lanes ect so what sort of work is your start point no good rolling up in a bus if you cant park it'
doblo van 300 ltr tank my set up nice ;D

Not sure how much money you have to spend on a van but have a look at the Peugeot Expert they have gross payloads from 1,000kg-1,200kg. You could easily get a 600-800 litre tank plus all your equipment no problems. If you go for the professional it comes with a steel bulkhead, twin sliding doors and blue tooth as standard. Citroen and Fiat also do their own version. Have a look for an ex-demonstrator from a main dealer you can save a fortune on a nearly new one and this would last you for years.

I think that would be the max limit for that van
