Hi all,
Been doing domestic for 10 years now and been asked to price up a NHS centre.
Never done this type of work so I am completely lost with pricing.
I do have a van mount WFP system so thats not an issue although parking may be.
Many thanks

looks like a nice job.
id say its upto you mate but take in a few things before pricing it.
how much do you want it?
is it near other work?
how often is it done?
parking van?
insides?
access to windows? - alot on the pics look a pain with railings.
-
depends on if its in and out and how often but id say no less than £250 mate for the outside.
-
there are so many questions to ask: here are a few:
is this on a main road if so, traffic management needs looking into.
Can them windows with the barred balconies be cleaned from inside ?
is this just an out side clean and if so how often
some of the pics look like some of the windows would not be accessable with a pole so a cherry picker or such maybe needed.
do you have any experience in commercail work, what insurance do you have and does it cover hospitals (I see it is NHS) not sure if it is a hospital, I know for a fact that my liablity insurance does not cover us to work on hospitals, not sure why but I dont clean them yet some makes no odds to me.
Have you not thought about subbing this work out as looks a bit of a nightmare for a first job.
Dean T is your man ;D

Thanks for the help. Some of the windows are difficult to reach at the top, parking could be a problem, and they only want them cleaning on the outside every 3 months..£250 Seems very high to me or do I have it wrong, I was thinking maybe £100 or so. Seems I still have a lot to learn.

count all the windows and charge £1 per window and 1.50 for any thing over 4 floor and upwards, i would do it on a sunday, when it is quiet

if you think a charge of £100 is ok for that mate, then you def have alot to learn.
3 months worth of dirt - a fair few windows and frames to clean.
and several floors to clean.
maybe im wrong as its hard to price by a pic sometimes but i still say £250 a clean.

If you think you can do it in a day charge a day rate plus a bit for any expenses etc
-
I would go for 250 and maybe on a sunday when your parking and other cars not an issue.
