Post by: derek west on May 14, 2010, 08:02:13 am
handle on my rx won't secure properly,(keeps slipping back up)  has anyone had this problem, and do i just need new lugs (think thats what ya call em) or is there a way to sort it without the new lugs, thought i'd ask before ordering some, no doubt there silly money but i need em.

Dereck,
Do you mean the black hand grips or the metal lever.
Dave.

derek, would you pass on glynns advice as i have had to slide a credit card down the side of the handle to 'take up the slack' and stop the handle moving,

the big long stainless steel bar down the middle, unscrew it from the  handle till it comes out, then once its out, do  3 or 4 turns then screw back in, if its still loose youve probably adjusted the wrong way so do it again the opposite way but 8 turns to counter the 4 turns you did initially, if that makes no sense then give us a ring, 07854690355.
