So when are you going back to finish them then Derek? ;D
-
going back saturday to finish them sky, got to sand the joints, ooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! that was a joke, sorry. ;D
-
Do you make a mix with the sand Derek?
A good while back I did a full time stone masonry course and we used to mix 3 parts sand to
1 part cement, or something like that. the cement would hold it all together but no too
firm to crack. It had Plasticity.
Rab.
Looks good by the way.

no mix for block pavers rab, think thats for patio slabs. all though we're gonna use geofix if they want it doing on patio slabs, got another job on monday which includes a conservatory as well as patio and pathways.
for the above piccies we'll just use dry silica sand, ( i hope ::) ;D) throw it down and brush it in, you can use a wacker plate on some but not these,
still learning though, going to alltec on the 24th 25th and 26th for the hard floor training, can't wait, the job we did today, she wants her kitchen tiles doing.

My mate is already selling it in Paisley. He says people are putting it over old decking as they cant be bothered treating it anymore, hes done a few at caravan parks over the decking.
-
Are you using a lance or a whirlaway, got a turbo but its messy ::)
-
A friend who worked for BMW moved to Australia and quit the motor trade to start supplying artificial grass..............two years later he's running a very successful business.
-
davep
whirlaway first, to keep the poo from spraying everywhere, then lance on rinse then lance on full power to shift the rest and then turbo for the lichin and ewt else that remains. finding it easier to get the crap out dry with a scraper first if theres a lot of it. keeps the sludge to a minimum. and lets face it, its the sludge that slows the job down, got a conservatory on monday, can't wait. piccies to follow. oh and the speed clean vid is set for next week. oh and the sod mets vid seeing as mikey boys to busy. ;D
-
Derek,
I thought the drive would be drier since you use a tm ;)
-
funny you should say that gazster, we kept getting a flood at the bottom of the driveway, (no draining there) so i got the trucky out and put one of the wifes nylons over the end of the pipes and tried to suck the pool of water out, unfortuanetly it just shredded the nylon, could do with an inline filter i wreckon.
