What length w/f pole would you recommend to use on downstairs work including conservatories were space is sometimes limited. What is the smallest pole on the market and where can i get one from?

Many of the broom handles sold in supermarkets have the right sized thread to take a standard angle adaptor.  Just connect brush, run the pole hose down the outside with some velcro to hold it.  It's about 3 feet long - no telescopic facility of course.  Cost - peanuts.

6" extender from Varitech. Put a handle on it (or wrap it with tape) eand you have a hand brush.
