Title: ladder mitts - fit all ladders?

as above - want to get a pair but would they fit any ladder basically?

yeah though they are better on ladders
that have thicker sides

i wrapped a bike inner tube round the ends of my ladder,very good grip from this way.

 as the mitts i bought previous kept coming off and were clumsy
