anyone got any advice on how to strap a 400 UPRIGHT into a combo.
Had a look behind bulkhead, seems to be a big gap between van floor and bottom of subframe. I'm aware it needs to be secured to van frame.
Anyone got any experience of combo + 400 kg !!??
Is it bye bye clutch from now on!!??

:'(
NOBODY !?

Combo wont look at 400kg full. This will kill the thing. I carry 300 most days in mine and it struggles badly on hills. Your suspension wont last 2 months if that.

Really !!
I already got 250 and jetwasher and loads of gear, mine goes ok.
Thought 400 would be okish!

have no problems with a 400 upright in mine - fits perfect.
strapped to bulkhead approx a third of the way up. also fitted to van is a frame with grill which is bolted to bodywork i have had a second strap attached to this near the top - but not really req.
a 400 upright stands just abover the cab roofline and when strapped tight is very well pinned around the whole area of the tank it can only ever move towards the rear doors

That's just the reply i've been waiting for !
Can you still get yoir poles in the back of the van above the tank? I have piping in the back fitted through top of bulkhead. My longest pole goes right into the storage compartment above front seats.

Yes the poles fit straight over the top and into the little blister over the seats - the tank is flush with this so also suppoerts the poles
my prolong fits in no problems
