Title: Advertising On Television
Post by: L.Doubtfire - The Blade Runner on May 11, 2010, 06:01:18 pm
Over the years on the forums various people put forward their
Views on the best way of advertising.
Nobody though to my knowledge has suggested putting an
Advertisment on your own regional television.
Does anyone know the cost of say running a 30 second advert
6 or 10 times per week ?

I wonder if £2,000 would cover 10 x 30 second advertisments?
These double glazing companies do it,plus hosts of other companies
Obviously too numerous to mention.
The poetential could be gigantic, repeat cleans etc.
Big money for most of us fella`s,,,but,,the advertising costs I mean that
Is.

Advertising, even on local tv, would bring in enquiries from possibly 60 odd miles away...would that be feasible to you?
Not knocking your idea Lewis but just a thought.....Could work for the "national" boys tho???

It probably is for the National `big boys`` something like
This, but I`ve never seen any.One fella on the group is
Talking about it costing in the region of £20,000 then
There`s air time or something.
Around 1980 when I was mainly carpet cleaning a friend
Of mine who`s now retired used to have 30 second `slot`
Advert on his local cinema between films. It could`nt have
Been too expensive for him to do it.
I don`t think radio advertising would have the same effect.
