Title: Powerburst on wool(hessian backed)
Post by: Deep Cleaning Solutions on May 08, 2010, 02:53:11 pm
I've got a job monday morning, the guy who phoned said the carpet,
(thru-lounge) was really bad.
I tried to arrange a survey, but we both struggled time-wise so i said i would look at it monday morning and do the job then if it was safe to do so.
The guy says the carpet is hessian backed but does not know the carpet fibre,so theres a good chance it's wool.
I have used PB before on a wool pub carpet and it came up great, which had no secondary backing(just woven),but am i safe to use PB when it has a hessian backing. My feeling is,if it is bad as he says it is i may as well throw my full armoury at it.

No problem on wool carpets, mix it hot, agitate well and hot acid rinse.

Ultrapac renovate, mix at 30 ml per litre and acid rinse.
The PH of Ultrapac comes down as you dilute it with water.
