Have a Ninja often called the Ford transit of carpet cleaners which i think is fair Airflex looks a bit more high tech, and if i were to get one would opt for the in line heater as the Ninja blasts steam out of a 5oft hose.
-
I use power flite pfx 1085 thats well good too :o standerd 33ft hose
-
I would tend to go for the tripple vacs, you can add heat in line, i've worked over 100' with good results.. Of course you could add booster vac to the Ninja ;D
-
I was one of the first to have a airflex turbo triple vac used as my main machine till i got the trucky used to use it 100ft from the van which was fine for most domestic jobs had it linked up to a fresh water tank. still use it a fair bit for bad access jobs and as a backup for the tm.

Ive looked into the airflex and they say replace the motors every 500 hours :o if this is right does any body know how much the motors are ???
Thanks for all your help so far ;D
-
Are you talking about the vac motors or the pump ?
-
The pumps? i'm looking at the 600psi machine
-
The pump, only one on a machine, would cost about £500 I think.
I would imagine its design life is more then 500 hours.
-
The pumps? i'm looking at the 600psi machine
pump head can be removed and replaced like most pumptec pumps not too expensive perhaps few 100 quid bu at 500 hours pretty good intervals
-
Ok, thanks for your help think I go for the airflex :)
-
i think you probably mean servicing every 500 hours.
My Powrflite states service pump at 480 hours.
-
Maybe ??? But they said they ( cleansmart ) to replace them! That's why I wasn't sure about it, does the machine have to go make to the makers for the pump service?
-
Only if serviced under warranty. I think Matt does a
service exchange, ie replaces pump head with a serviced one.
Then services yours as and when, then uses yours on the next
pump serviced. This reduces down time to you.
I may be wrong, but this is the sensible cost effective approach.
-
That's a nice idea remember Matt used to be a carpet cleaner years ago.

thing is with matt unlike many suppliers you ask a question or you have a prob you get an answer or he sorts your prob out.
i rung altec last week about some infomation n a rotovac 360i no one to talk to someone will call you back funny no one did. if they spent as much time on custy service as they do on email marketting they would be on to a winner

Who is this matt and where is he? As he sounds great but I'm in east Sussex
