Strange my wife worked with me before we got married
After that the only time she picks up any window cleaning gear is if she is to fed up waiting for me to clean our own windows.
I do know of about four or five Husband and wife teams however.
Hope that makes your wife feel a little better David

I work with mine, and have done for around two years and she's been pretty much full time for a year now.
Although we have our arguments, on the whole we work extremely well together. She adds around a third to what I would've done by myself. I find her overly fussy in some areas. She'll never just give a bit of frosted glass a 'dry wipe' with a scrim (for bullpoo purposes). She's got to wash it, or spray it with a solution first. She also spends too much time on doors too.
Potential customers tend to approach her, rather than me. So I think she's good for getting business too.
I do tell her that it's okay to lower your standards a little; overall we still do a top job, but she won't; even though I've tried thumping her.
We don't have to talk much. She knows what she's got to do and I get on with what I've got to do. We're a good team.
