The answer is 1 week!!!!!
All maintenance cleans, no 1st cleans, nothing heavy going...
This is the brush I had as a replacement to another one I had for about a month, which was losing bristles.
The question is, how long will it last?!
For one of the most expensive brushes on the market, it's far from what I would expect.
-
I find that hard to beleive i would not be happy with that the black base has rounded edges
-
Its like it's made of playdoh, and the bristles are frightened of touching glass, so the curl up or spread away from it.
-
i know gardiners are selling a load of seconds brushes on there web site

9 months old? How many windows do you clean a week?

We bought a few of those, nothing wrong with them at all if your after a cheap super lite.
-
Bring back the old ones that weren't splayed and sell them as well as the current ones :) Old ones may not have as much scrubbing power as the new ones but were better for georgian windows. If I wanted scrubbing power I'd use a Tucker brush.
-
I prefer the older one, too!
-
Some 'shiners' don't treat their brushes (or other equipment) with enough care. For instance - if you leave brushes with the bristles resting on the van floor (or against another item of equipment) the bristles will become permanently deformed. Also, I think that prolonged direct sunlight/heat are bad for bristles.
-
I think that picture is shocking. That sticker shouldn't peel like that - contact Gardiners pronto!
-
the bristles are a slightly better on mark 1 but i prefer the mark 2 slayed bristles work far better when cleaning in tight spots ie. down the side of conny's
