Title: Commercial quote ... need help on pricing
Post by: Ian101 on May 04, 2010, 04:18:40 pm
Dropped the Missus off at work this morning and noticed a new factory had opened up next to her place of work ... popped into reception to ask for the name of the boss ... he came out walked me around and said to put a quote in writing ... currently they dont have a windie  ;D

Im ok quoting residential but no real idea with commercial ..... its got 60 windows all on ground floor level so no ladders required and about 20 in reception if you count reception as inside and outside.

Would have to be trad as still only got me trolley system.

Would £90 be about right ??

Nice one Ian - I've picked up loads of work in the past from "on the spot" canvassing.

How many hours do you think it will take you?

x estimated hours by your preffered hourly rate and add a bit because its commercial :)

Dont forget to submit a risk assesment etc with your written quote. >> http://www.southerncleaningservices.co.uk/healthsafety.html

Could you have gone part time first before quitting?

You must be confident to hand your notice in but i dont think you will regret it

Best Of Luck ;)
