Trying to make sure I don't get more complaints over quality of work.
Added 4 cap fills of G3 to 80 litres of water. These caps are tiny but I got some foaming after 10 mins. This was probably due to tank return & the softness of demin water.
Did this on last job in case if hassles. Bur after suds cleared the job looked a good one. It may even have been more gleam to the glass, but this could be physcologocal.
Anybody tried it?
Kevin.

I can't see how you can get purer than pure water? Unless g3 is a wetting agent with 0 tds?
I'm sure you know what you are doing by now Kev but if it was me I'd be checking my meter and then my technique
I know you now use very little water so maybe all that sunshine was drying the glass too quick?

is G3 glass gleam 3 (gg3) ?
if not what is it ?

why add anything to purified water? It doesn't make sense? Purified water at the correct TDS will clean windows perfectly.Maybe you should change your technique. Lack of rinsing with enough water and you will get a lesser quality finish

G3 is gg3. (Ist time I've used it)
Helen: I've been wfp for 4 years now & have very few complaints. But this last 10 days have had righteous moans from custies who have never complained before.
I'm reckoning there's some sticky with this volcanic ash & me normal technique is not working. So I've decided to add a leetle specialised detergent to see it's effect.
Today I worked all day with the additive & the glass defitnely shines better.
Also, it's useful cos rather than waste water rinsing tiny particles on patios, I wip out me squeege & this is quicker. The trace of soap is enough to glide with.
Today I earnt £50 more than usual.
Let's see if the whole week's way better.
Kevin.

i thought adding anything to pure water would make it unpure, or is it that u r adding it in the tank then it goes throught the resin and vansishes, so u end up with 000 water anyway, u just think it working,
if gg3 is going on to windows how is it drying clean with out getting bladed off

I have been wfp 7yrs now, and have said for a long time on dirty first cleans I allways use a bit of detergent.
On Tuesday I did this conservatory on a farm house that is right next to a road, this road normally has six inchs of mud. But in the dry weather it is just dust blowing everywhere. Hence the conservatory was dreadfull.
When you use a bit off detergent you can see the dirt in all the foam and when you rinse you can see it run off and drys perfect.

I think I will use that method on first cleans now. I'm thinking about making a Tucker like canister with microbore connectors, so you can just add the Fairy, or whatever as you clean. That would be brilliant on first cleans I reckon.

What I do is put a few drops of neat fairy liquid directly on to the brush head.
