This time next week it'll all be over, so before it's too late, I'd like to wish you all a very merry Christmas, and a happy and prosperous New Year.

Safe and happy cleaning:)
Ken

PS.
Mark, judging by your greeting, it looks like you've been watching the film Home Alone a few too many times ;)

kenneth, you mentioned Tax matters.

Have you  read in the papers today that our 'beloved' Chancellor has discovered that he has created a tax loophole by giving single Director Limited Company's certain tax advantages.

Oh Dear me....I could see this coming a mile off.

Those of you who have gone Limited, would be advised to get any dividends out within the current tax year.. that if you have enough to draw a dividend.

The Chancellor,Gordon Brown, doesn't give anything away.... he's a canny Scot.

What he has done is drawn a lot of self employed people into the tax net where he can keep an eye on them... that's my theory anyway.

There has been a loophole for years whereby a dividend doesn't attract NIC payments... that'll go for certain.

Derek

Oh, I forgot.... A Merry Christmas to you all
