i have recently given quotes and been told they will be in touch but heard nothing,do i contact them?

if i had quotes off trades men i wouldnt want them pestering me for work,like to make my own mind up in my own time and ring them ;)

in the past ive always followed up on a quote after a week or so ;D
but i guess it does depend on wot sort of company u r dealin with ;)

I presume you are talking about domestic?
If so pop round and see them... Say you were just passing and thought you would stop to follow up... Has always worked for me.

im thinking about getting my secretary to call them (missis) other them slightly cheaper!10% discount mays special offer ;D

If they have givern you a phone number at the time of the quote i would say they are pretty genuine.
i always record these into a book then call back between 5 and 10 days later to see if they want to go ahead
it always helps if you know why they did not go ahead on the day ie.. speaking to hubby/wife etc... this gives you a great 'in' with the phone call.
we don't offer any further discounts just because they dither on whether they want a windy or not. - that's done on the day and only in rare occasions if i know i was heavy on price

as they were domestics they normally say yes or no when you give the quote . unless i was passing and had the time i,d say leave them.
