Title: Conservatory Roofs with WFP
Post by: Matthew JN on April 30, 2010, 08:18:12 pm
Hi

After several conservatory cleans i am now of the opinion that WFP only gives a good result if the roof is not particularly dirty.

Job i did yesterday the roof was that filthy that i first used my access ladder to clean it with soap and squeegee and scrape all the rock hard deposits off.  Then fininshed off with a WFP wash and rinse, and then attached a large 30cm squeegee to the angle adapter on my pole (just pushes on nicely) and pull down on each roof panel to give a perfect result finally.

I find that due to the angle of alot of Con roofs that even on full water flow that it just doesn't rinse all the little bits away. So the squeegee solves that problem for me.

I spray polcarbonate roofs with tfr, leave it to soak while I clean the other windows of the house, then attach an old wfp to the customers tap and turn the tap up high. takes 30 minutes tops and roofs are always spotless.
