i've previously used the cleaning bucket you can get at BnQ but turns out my local one doesn't sell them any more. wondered rather then looking around for the next one that'll do, if anyone has any suggestions as to the ones they use? i really liked the BnQ one as it was semitransparent and was designed to go with a smaller carry piece that sits perfectly on top.
also we're looking for some decent wood floor cleaner that is as eco-friendly as possible. we've previously used the stuff from method as it smells great and customers always comment on how nice the place smells, however we've got a new commercial contract with loads of wood floor so it's not practical to use it there.
finally for this new commercial contract as it's got a lot of large rooms with lots of empty space there is a lot of mopping to be done. we've used e-cloth mops before but found them to be very expensive and would like to know of what others found to be the best for value/how good it is. ideally we'd like one that has a good sized telescopic pole, allows the head piece to be changed to a variety of sizes, and also (though i doubt this dream will ever come true) it's be great if it used a standard click in system for the pole so that other attachments could be added to the pole, e.g. we could take off the mop head and attach any random item to it so that the pole has more then one use.

no idea re buckets, but for wood floors you could try lemon floor gel from northern environmental www.nenviro.com. Not as eco friendly, but also good for wooden floors is Hagesan Wash & Shine but not really designed for commercial use in terms of quantities whereas the floor gel is.

thanks diana. funnily enough i currently have a load of the lemon gel sat unused in one of our cleaners cupboard so will give it a go. thought the wood would need something a little more specialised so that the oils, finish etc isn't ruined but guess not.
what do you use for domestic cleans when taking your supplies into properties? we've always used a bucket like in the link below, though it was a slightly different shape before that allowed another level for supplies to sit on top and didn't come with the mop squeezing part, but would be interested to see how others do it?

If you have loads of flooring to clean then a kentucky system is the way to go
For large dirty areas then mopping will just move it about do you use buffers if so tan or red pads will do here white for polishing
Also your e clothes are to expensive pound land or 99p shop if you have one near you do the same thing 4 in pack and there good not often you can say that in a pound shop :D i often take the lot off the shelf ;D

Personally not a fan of the eco chems but the greenline plus professional range are the best we use so the girls tell me. we also supply this to the custys who want it to. hope this helps green

unless i'm mistaken exel only do the traditional mops rather then microfibre mops?
wasn't aware of the poundland price for ecloths, will pop into one to see if i can get some bargains.

Just remove the silly pointless wringer and they're great.
Re mops, we use excel revolution handles and revolution mop heads, they're looped and don't shed at all. They're not microfibre but they go in the washer at 90 and last for ages.
