Do these make much of a difference with 2 vac porties and also can they be used (adapted) on various porties or just certain machines.
Cheers

Does it make a difference to go from a 2 vac machine to a 3 vac - ......... err Yes!
-
You will need to move to using 2" waste hose to maximise airflow too. 3 vacs has made a big difference for me.
Cheers, Col....

Your right Colin - to maximise airflow, but you can work on 1.5" ok
The original Scorpions were only 1.5", indeed when I bought mine 2nd hand off Spencer Davis it still was on 1.5", it was about 4 months later I changed to 2" - but what a difference just going from 1.5 to 2"

Where can you get a vac booster?? What kind of cost?

Solutions and Ashbys, I've had the solutions one and it's big and bilky but can double up as a small spotting machine where as the Ashbys is lighter and more compact but is just a booster, both are the same price more or less, IMO the Ashbys one is better made for the job.

Cheers shaun, can it be used on a prochem thou ??

Ashbys used to sell Prochem so you could ask them but I believe you just attach to vac exhaust the extra vac pulls the air through the other vacs faster.

I am not sure so better to ask supplier but I am certain I saw a picture on here of a Ninja wate tank to fitted with a vac hose inlet and then you could link to another machine.
What power the other machine was ie 2stage , or 3 stage single vac or twin vac to make it work without doing damage but giving required result I have no idea

Putting 3 vacs in series is a load of old cobblers, it gives a hugely dis-proportinaote lift/airflow ratio.
Nigel Woodhead has brilliantly adapted the Ashbys booster. Rather than connecting onto the exhaust, which make it a 3 vacs in-series setup, he added a hose barb to the waste tank lid so the second vac was working in parallel to the other two. This doubles the air flow. He also has adapted the main hose barb on the front of the machine to 2" which makes better use of the increased air flow.
He says it works fantastically well, and the "lop-sided" vac system apparently isn't a problem. There are photos of it somewhere.....

You'd only be cutting a hole in the waste tank lid. I'm sure Nigel wouldn't mind you contacting him to ask how he did it.
