hi, getting quite a few gutter jobs and wanted to make life abit easier so was thinking of making life easier. can anyone tell me which ones are the best and are they any good?  cheers

Definately, using a guttervac is bloody hard work!!!!  :-\

Groundhog does have a point. Guttervacs are great but you really need a generator to power them which weighs a ton, a selection of poles that can also weigh a fair bit, the camera set up, the gutter spike, the vac itself. If you are sucking wet sludge then the poles get lined with it and weigh even more, the hose clogs and gets heavy. It would  often be much easier to climb a ladder and shove the crud along with a pole and scoop. Mind you I'd choose my vac any day for a three storey job.  ;)

We have an Omnivac -  cant fault it.

after the first few to get things running ok and fine tweaking technique etc...  we can do a house in around 40 minutes

Blimey.. an average house takes me about 10 mins off my ladder!!!!  ;)

That just about sums up my experience with a guttervac!! I would agree about the three storey jobs! Other than that it's far quicker and easier to just get the ladder out, and I use a few lengths of drain rods to push the crap along and then I just put some rubber gloves on and scoop it out by hand!! Simple but effective!  ;)

gutter spoon on a pole reach all 1side of ave 3bed in 1 hit  ;D simples  ;)
