Got to my work area today, did some top windows with wfp, then went to get trad gear for the bottoms. Realised I had left the mop at home, so had to drive back and get it. With the distance and traffic a whole hour wasted... ;D

If it was outsides, why didn't you do the bottoms wfp too?

Only had a small amount of water (in containers) with me. It wouldn't have been enough for the whole days work no matter how hard I tried.

I learnt that lesson. Even if you haven't got a full day take a full load of water as a neighbour might ask you to do theirs while you're there.

I don't like to carry more water than I need, due to wear and tear, so I carry a small 6 litre DI cylinder to make my own fast if needed.

Ye gods and little fishes!!
What do you think we used to do before purified water and applicators?
If you're 'tradding' a dunk in the nearest puddle will be good enough - a drop of Fairy and a good swab over followed by your squeegee and no-one could tell the difference.
No swab?
You can manage without your underpants for a day, can't you?
;D ;D ;D

Hi,
If it happens again a long way from home use an item of clothing like a sock or a scrim. Better still always carry a spare.

Well, there we go. Just goes to prove what a dope I am. Why didn't I think of that? ;D
