I really don't get this - Bristol Airport was shut for about six days when there wasn't a scrap of ash about and the sky was beautifully clear and blue. Now everyone is complaining of ash and the planes are flying all day long.  ???

Perhaps that's because the "ash" is now on the ground and not in the atmosphere :P
