Title: problem ive not come across before... help
Post by: Blue Frog Systems on April 26, 2010, 08:35:07 am
Just gone back to two houses this morning that had some white spots.

First house upvc window - scrim - straight off

Second house wooden windows- scrim... Nope... Wfp... Nope

Anyone got any ideas on how I can sort this ? Never come across this before.

If you can't remove the white spots with a scrim then it means its not spots from WFP... It must be limescale or something?

Could be mineral deposits, try some mineral deposit remover, WCW sell some.

soap them up with hot water and then use a scraper, this usually removes most things

After trying all that if its still not coming off it may be on the inside of the outside pane (?)
