Title: Wall to Wall sisal carpet
Post by: William Sharpe on October 16, 2017, 09:18:36 am
Hi guys. Has any one cleaned a sisal fitted carpet, An old client of mine has had a bit of a roof leak onto her sisal carpet, it has all dried up nicely, there is no smell but has quite a large water mark which she has asked if I can try to remove. The carpet was fitted properly so no shrinkage  at all. I would really like to remove this unsightly tide mark if that's possible. any sugestions

Permanent staining I’m afraid Reg.

Be sympathetic, perhaps issue a report for insurance purposes (make sure you charge for it) but to try and remove the stain will only end up in a lot of wasted time, headaches for you and you possibly owning the damaged carpet.
