For me i have to say that SPM has managed to tackle some filthy and i mean filthy restaurant carpets, and this is from a microsplitter!
Have also used Shockwave and yes it works well... but will require an acidic rinse.

Although initially pricey,as it's not available in small tubs, it's actually going to be very economical to use.
It's also a nice free running powder, not too sticky like PB.

Brian

Is that the stuff you gave us to demo or was it SW. never found PB to be sticky ???

Doesn’t PC fall into the SPM category ;)

Brian your right about powerburst and have posted before that in my experiance it resoils very quickly,

and yes i did use acid rinse and the same can be said for blitz , they do the job but at a cost .

Russ does Shockwave need a acid Rinse because we don't bother( been back to see carpets months later and no issues)  and from my memory i can never ever remember anyone coming on here and say i wish id acid rinsed that , is it just habit.

John Bolton has advised that an acidic rinse is necessary when using Shockwave, SPM is classed as being a little more "green" if that's the right word to use!
Shockwave is really only used on bad greasy synthetic type carpets and i wouldn't really advise using it on natural fibres... SPM has quite a punch and you will be very surprised how versatile it is on all types of carpets and fabrics!

I'd guess because they come in 15kg tubs and Simon has to have the biggest of everything ;) ;) :D

maybe you have never had resoiling problems , because you havent tested microspitters next t a high ph detergent .

or maybe it dosent matter
it resoils quicker than lots of others i have used my own carpets were dirty within 4 2 weeks using high ph and acid rinse but nearly 8 to 12 weeks with ms  thats with two kids in and out with their mates

wait a minute if your going to go down the rd of truch mounts are better then chemical suppliers shouldn't be supplying chemicals that are not fit for purpose in portable machines.

but i have a alltec 135psi portable

and we us ms and spm bonneting so whatever argument u have isnt going to hold up. try bonneting with powerburst , blitz  see what results u get after 3 days

you may of been cleaning carpets longer but cant see my point of view as it doesn't suit your needs
