How to deal with customers Joe Bristor style
« on: June 07, 2011, 04:19:03 pm »
I fired off an email about wanting to know how this 4 to the door would work with my chemspec machine and the vt14 wand his relpy

"Right-e-o mate.
Let me blow an hour writing up a proforma only to get a response (if I’m lucky)...
hey  thanks mate, I’ll get back to you.

Nope,
Let’s turn this around.
You’re Steve Gunn with at least 4 years of knowing who I am and what I have to offer you.
Or are you brain dead from all those years of butyl?

How about YOU spend the hour.
YOU spend all the time you need to on my site, www.realcleaners.com
THEN, YOU write up the Proforma.
Then YOU Paypal me $100 to edit it.
OK?

Boy that felt good.
Now get to work, boy."

Needless to say he can stick it up his ar$e

You gotta laugh at his style, he must have enough money that he doesnt really give a stuff what you want,

Either that or he's really had enough of carpet cleaning  ;D

Didn't know it was in the dictionary. Anyway nice way to treat a customer isn't it. What gets me is that people have this idea that customer service in the states is so superior when in fact most of the time it is crap.

The bloke is a total arse all I'm asking is exactly what I need and a price but he reckons it will take him an hour to write a reply but he'll fire emails back and forth calling me lazy

"let me know exactly what I need ...” “...could you give total cost of everything needed including delivery costs.”

It would take me an hour for which I would do if there were an order to come of it, and if it wasn’t explained pretty well on my site.
Your Qs are of a general nature which tells me you are lazy and expect me to work for you, probably for free.
To that I say bug off mate.
.
Tooooooo many times you in the UK and AUS say “OK I’ll get back to you” then never do, or if you do it’s months later and you want me to go thru it all over again.
Screw you all.

I am very grateful for being able to service so many cleaners but I deserve and demand a little respect.
To you and all those like you, I made the website. www.realcleaners.com
Use it.

There’s nothing you’ve asked that isn’t answered on the site. Or you might consider the Categories & Contributors.
There you will find dozens of real cleaners who have done what you want to do.
Use this resource first, then ask away. But don’t make me spend an hour writing you directly when the answers are right there if you weren’t lazy.

If you can find anybody who offers all that I do in the way of really useful products for less, then please let me know Steve.
Until then, show some respect. Get off you’re lazy bum and do a little thinking for yourself.

Joe, over and out."

I KNOW WHAT HE DESERVES AND IT'S NOT RESPECT >:(

Maybe Cheryl Cole has upset him?

Seriously, that attitude stinks.

He's probably been on one of those courses that teaches that you should be un contactable for "ordinary" queries?

a simple price ?
Is that the truth?
I don’t think so.
I say you are lying, trying to oversimplify your original request.
Where does your original request ask for a simple price?
You were lying when you said that weren’t you.
Is that how you get through life Steve Gunn, by being lazy liar?

Now here’s your simple price, $6.

Good luck figuring out how this simple price is going to answer your original Qs.

Good luck at the grocery walking up to the minimum wage employee,
“I want enough food to make 13 different 3 course dinners and a detailed plan for next weekend’s campout with my 6 member family.
Please provide me with all the recipes and give it all me with a simple price.  Then I might buy it. But then again I might just say OK, let me think about it. Then again I may not even say thank you. Because that’s just how I am, an lazy, inconsiderate boy. And don’t give me a hard time because I will smack you.”
Now that’s the Steve Gunn I know, huh Steve?
How many store clerks would give you one minute of their time Steve?
None. Because their time, even though it’s minimum wage time is still more valuable than yours.

The only reason I’ve wasted so much time on you Steve is not for you at all Steve. I knew from reading your vague general Question that there would never be an answer that would satisfy you.
So you are my example to other lazy liars like you Steve.
I spent tis tome to show others who attempt to get anywhere in life by being lazy will never get you anywhere.
You got nowhere did you Steve Gunn?
Neither will anyone who is lazy with me.
And if you lie to me, you will become my next poster child.
Do your homework people.

There’s a terrific resource at your fingertips. Real Cleaners who are not lazy. Guys who have thought it through and who did make decisions.

Pi**ed before lunch :o

I posted it on tmers hope the stupid get does get loads of emails people like him don't deserve to be in business. It was a simple enough request what would I need for my chemspec 494 to run the 4 2 the door and vt14 wand plus price including delivery. If I knew what I wanted I would have ordered it was on his site this morning but it would not give me delivery costs for the wand hence the email to him.

i bought two stair wands from him, i asked how much with post, he replied, i bought.

he sent the wrong ones though, so i told him and i bought 2 more the correct ones, thats why i just sold a brand new stair wands, got what i paid for them easy enough.

Steve how about using 3 inch hose HM stock it now, im sure you know that already.

Steve I have 3 x lots of 2.5" hose with a connector and cuffs if you are interested? I run 50 or 100ft so I can't be bothered with max air flow.

It's in vgc.

Shaun

PS if you have any equip to swap I can do that also.

Ian,

I bought number 3 in the link, it's the best stair wand I've had so far, goes around the noses further than most. It was roughly £110 including post and duty.
