I always find this an interesting question. I think the more important number is the cost per customer. Once a business gets a clear grasp of that things improve a lot. You can reach a point where you can almost decide how much, how fast and when to grow.
The best way to predict the future is to create it.

The Tv adverts I get zilch , but I'm stuck in a 2 year contract which ends in September this year.
This is the company - Cnetwork- (type it in google and see the 1* google reviews)

http://www.cnetwork.tv

I wish I had googled them before the sales guy came round, but iv learned from my mistake..... £1488 pound later .....
The phoned me out of the blue saying my advert plays a couple of times an hour all day long at surgeries near me and thousands of people will see it every week. The truth is , some of the TVs don't even work 🤦‍♂️😢

I'd advise nobody to make a deal with these people

 ??? ??? ???

I pay £4.99 with Tsohost and currently have 5 or 6 active sites for that.  They're all included for the £4.99.

SEO is almost always a con and often gets websites excluded from Google searches completely due to poor practices.

Nowadays Google looks for companies that don't use SEO, that way they get more interest in paid ads. Maintain your website and update it regularly and it will climb on it's own. Also put links on related sites, that helps too.

Hardly sounds like it's worth £29. 1 customer.

I get more than that and I'm about £6 a year (there was a design fee in the beginning mind).

You can never be sure how many enquirers you get through it though, Nat should be able to tell you the traffic, that will give you a better idea.

4.99 tso host as well....3 sites so far.

Farcebook- as much as i want for free

canvassing £4500 so far this year, hopefully more to come, 5k ish last year

done the monthly magazines before, probably broke even... tried leafletting and got a poor return from 8k so not confident on others doing the delivery. Adwords, ok for bigger jobs but for window cleaning it wasnt worth it.

TSO Host for me too £4.99 per month but just the one site because I couldn't be bothered to build any more. It brings in quite a lot of enquiries but, as I have said previously, 80% is a load of rubbish...but then 20% is OK.
My leaflets cost me about £60 for 5,000 printed and delivered. My stepson is off from College, so he does one day a week for me at the moment in specifically targeted streets and he's very good. He cost's me beer money plus commission. A very good ROI.
I also do some very targeted canvassing that only costs me my time (but that's worth something too). Although it does get me out the house and away from Mrs Window Cleaner on a 'shopping at Sainsbury's day'!  ;D
Previously I have done Google Adwords and for me, it paid for itself and then some. This year I haven't bothered because I really want to compact my round and Adwords isn't the tool to do it.
