hoses outside or inside
« on: June 01, 2006, 10:39:09 pm »
guys have my hoses inside but did convert them to outside with the connection at the brush cone, I find this when running a reel easier than connecting hose to hose at the bottom of the pole. how are other wfps poles set up for quickness

looking also for quick disconnect connectors for the brush jets to disconnect the brush from the pole when loading in the van- any help would be appreciated

I have 5mm clear hose outside the pole but would like to know if anyone has found a good way of securing it so it doesn't catch on porch gutters, satillite dishes and the like.
This is the most annoying aspect of my system, the blinking hose continually flapping around and getting in the way.

Although my hose is inside the pole,i use a trigger and the hose from the trigger to the end of the pole is neatly held with strips of velcro and it allows you slide it up and down,Gaz

I used to be a velcro fetish ahhhhhhhhh.  :-X
Vince try a single loose wrap of velcro strap (woolies B&Q) or a cable tie round the bottom of the top section of a telescopic pole, leave it there semi permanately. Then just twist the rest a turn or two round the pole and hold near the base with your little finger. Some use c section shower curtain plastic fittings.
