I've just found out that as of 6th April you can no longer claim back the cost of SSP payments through you NI contributions.

Got a cleaner whos just put in a 13 week sick note  :-\

Has she signed an employment contract with you? Otherwise its a zero hours contract.(I think)

Yep, a nightmare waiting to happen. We've paid over £5000 in SSP over the last couple of years. Most of it we got back.

This was announced a fair few months back. They actually put the typical spin claiming to be doing us a major favour. Here you go: -
