Where do you advertise?

Just wondering what gets best results other than door knocking and leaflet drops.

Leaflets, supermarket notice boards, being out and about cleaning windows.

Cheers

Thanks - Will try some of these, Yellow pages seems a popular one looking at other threads.
I tried that once before but only got one job out of it. Was a big job and still have it now 7 years later.

Saw a sign that was advertising grass cutting but was well messy but was a good idea, something you should try. Buy a couple of boards and paint on it neat advertisiing window cleaning so it can be seen when you drive by. Then stick it near roundabouts or traffic lights where people tend to stop.
