Go cardless / squeegee question
« on: June 18, 2018, 01:09:41 pm »
So I've been using GoCardless for a while now and as most know all my new work sign up on it as well. Up till now I go in manually to each client and process a payment each month or whatever and using copy/paste I can leave the same message.
Ie, Windows cleaned 01/01/18, thank you. Nathan (NKservices).
I have no problems doing this. However I have started to use the squeegee app on phone which I think is great (could do with some adaptions, but overall a good app). I've paired my customers with go cardless and so when you swipe the job done it sorts out the D/D, but it doesn't allow you to edit the d/d it just sends it blank virtually saying that NKservices is debiting £x in next couple of days.
So my question is, how do I use GoCardless I think is where the issue is. How do I keep the message on the email/invoice that gets generated?

Cheers for any advice

Yeah, just get Cleaner Planner.

I tried squeegee for a month.

It looks great and has some nice features.

However its too early in its development yet for me. I found it buggy and slow. Its also a nightmare to re organize work you just can't see everything.

Also a lot of the features are not live yet.

I will have a look at it in another year when hopefully its had all its problems ironed out

I've just stated up with aworka again, I would go with that or cleaner planner Nathan they are proven apps.

I briefly looked at cleaner planner but looked like too much faff for my liking. I've not looked at George or the others, but I quite like squeegee from what I've used so far. The downside is entering all the customers but I suppose that's the same on any software system used  :'(
But I do like the symplicity of it being an actual app, but according to my app the upgrade to the premium package is just under a tenner a month

So the email is sent from Go-Cardless but potentially Squeegee can pass in an alternative message... contact them, i'm sure they'll look into it for you.
