Would a gooseneck solve the problem of how i can reach  a 2nd floor window. It is above a stone victorian bay that also has a 15 inch high stone capping round it .to reach it at the moment i would have to stand halfway out in the road , and the pole would be on a 45 degree angle.

Try 2 unger cranked elbows(plastic for lightness) joined letter "N" fashion so that the brush can up and over then up again to get the  brush at the correct right angle.

I think you should have 2 poles , a multi head for general every day stuff and one with a permanent gooseneck for deep cills.
I have got the trident gooseneck from Brodex and it has been excellent.
