1996 Transit For Sale
« on: May 20, 2007, 03:54:51 pm »
I am going to be as honest as i can be about this Van - It really has seen better days (visualy) Mechanically it is sound (it wants to be i have owned it for about 2 years and have spent well over £1200 on MOT's and the likes!! It has 108000 on the clock and is an N reg. There is a 4th seat in the back (from an espace) that is not very comfortable and is removable but has proved useful on more than 1 occasion! The Fans only work on a on off switch and there is no stereo. The steering column nocks a little but it did this for the last MOT and the mechanic just said well thats vans for you... The drivers seat is riped but has a cover. The pics show the extent of the rust and it aint great at all but by far the majority of it is on the doors which are replacable for a cheap price if needed. The passenger seat belt (nearest the door) is a pain to pull out although it deos its job well once its there.  I serviced it myself about a year ago and have only covered 4000 miles sice then!!! The van has no tax but has MOT till September. I still have insurance so if you wanted tax then i can tax it for you at your cost. On the good side... It has never let me down (apart from battery witch i replaced about 4 months ago) It will run all day long and do 28 - 34 mpg dependant on load. It has a towbar with working electrics.

This van will be a great workhorse for somebody and is a very honest example (i have not tried to hide anything what you see is what you get)

£250

Any Questions please email me I will try and get back to yaou within a couple of hours..  ;D

(edit) this is a 2.5 D

I also have for sale with this van a set of Galvanized Steel roofrack with ladder rolling bar and i think 6 of the 8 legs to hold it onto the roof. There is also the galvanized steel ladders that go with it and bolt onto the back of the van....
