Description of the contract:
The Governors of Great Sankey High School are looking to award a contract for
the cleaning of the school and also the cleaning of Barrow Hall Primary School
and Park Road Primary School.
The Services for the schools will include providing daily cleaning of the site
buildings during term time, deep cleaning during the summer holidays. Interim
cleans during half term, specialist high level cleaning (when required). Out of
hours cleaning may
also be required for school functions.
It is likely that TUPE of existing staff will be applicable.
The Governors are particularly interested in submissions from progressive
organisations with a proven track record in the state school cleaning sector.
The Governors are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of
children and young people and
expect all staff, volunteers and contractor personnel to share this commitment.
The contract will operate for 5 years from 1st September 2013 and may be
extended for up to three further periods of one year.
