How many windows ?

was just wondering how many windows everyone cleans in the average hour , trad or wfp.....
ive been w/c 14 yrs all my work compact an i do average 50 windows an hour (trad). i dont clean frames but do most sills. i am pretty quick though  :D

prehaps you should compete against terry burrows!! im not sure how many i clean, but i do clean the frames, probabblly 51!  ;D i will count tom, carl

The average window will take the average window cleaner 90 seconds to clean.

This is a window about 5ft by 3ft 6"
One narrow opening light, 1 pane underneath that and 1 to the one side of both of those.
That is of course a time for trad and includes the sill but not the frames, but does allow for detailing.

How many window in an hour is a bit like how long is a piece of string isn't it?
It all depends on how big the windows are, whether they are georgian or leaded and so on.
I charge a £1.00 a window and I'm not prepared to say how many I do in an hour 8)

geoff and mac honest did 76 windows front back and side today 3rd and 2nd floor some of them double panes and  had to climb on a flat roof as well in two hrs dead

To be honest i probably do about the same with time left over for a cuppa thats bay window on front with 2 upstairs one side window and kitchen window patio door and 2 bedrooms on back.

tradional to be honest im quite quick i have been doing it since i was 12 i used to go with me dad 24 now i take a lad with me somedays i can clean the 2 upstairs the side and 1 of the back upstairs whilst he is still n the bay window haha

Well i have a number of lads who work for me bascially i pay them a % of what they earn each week i set them certian work out and if they finish early we go and help someone else out who is normally behind normally me cause i dont get out of bed till 9.30ish  ;D

ive got some small 2 bed terrace an can do 8 an hour, if i could get away with £1 a window i would only work 2 days a week  :P
