hose connections

hi, so far ive used hoze lock fittings, to be honest im forever changing them. does anyone use K.A.R couplings, im thinking about changing the lot, any other segestions would be appriciated.  ???

hey gary how are you  where you get the steel connectors with the stop valve on , and are they any good?

we use couplings on all our hose , but we use microbore and change all the tail end s on the poles as well far easire to use and last longer over 5 months in one van now

i sell the hose and hose reel for micro bore for £135 comes with 100 m length with connections

the adaptors for tail to pole are £5.00

hi
i bought the valve from gardiners and put it 12 inch from the end of the pole hose , that way i can hold the valve in my hand at all times and the hoselock stop connector is only 12inch away so it doesnt drag on the floor so it never gets damaged, the valve is very sturdy and i am hoping not to replace either for years not weeks
Get one you wont regret it they are about £6

I have a 10mm Gas fitting valve to turn water on and off that I have put directly on my m/bore hose, I have Gardiners professional end stops attached, they never leak as they can stand pressure up to 500psi.

Piture below. I slip the end of the m/bore through my belt so the valve is allways at waist hight.

I now use gardiner proffesional hose fittings and they are excellent.
they are the only fittings i have tried that dont leak and i can see them lasting a long time.

The hose connecters in that link above are like the ones I use.

THE BEST

I got mine from the guys at Cleantech,

They are called Schrader Valves,

The 6mm Female tail is about £10
The 6mm Male tail is about £2

If you or anyone else gets these, you find that they really are the Business
