WELL SPOTTED THAT MAN , IF IT LEAKS ITS A GONNER !
PRESSURE SWITCH IS SAFER AT THE BOTTOM

pressure switch is bypassed look closely and you will see acontroller at end of hose total control of voltage (controlling flow)
-
BUT IF YOU DO SPRING A LEAK WITHIN THE PUMP SURELY IT WOULD CAUSE DAMAGE INTERNALLY , IT WOUL STILL BE WATER MIXING WITH ELECCTRIC .
OR AM I BEING DULL ?

Well, with 12volt motors you wouldn't really do any damage electrically, but the water wouldn't do the mechanics of the pump a whole lot of good. Another thing is if you're using de-ionised water, then the water itself will have no conductivity, de-ionised water does no damage to electrical circuits, it's only water with impurities in it, ie tap water or dirty water, that conducts electricity, and the higher the tds in the water the more it conducts.
So if your pump leaks de-ionised water into itself it'll be fine electrically speaking, i cant say if the mechanics would be ok, but the electrics will be fine.

Martin, Well done for actually putting it all together. 3 wheels and reverse and room to put a backpack for tight corners.Perhaps you could bolt a hosebox to it ? Whats it like in practice, kerbs and brick paths etc ?
-
the trolley can handle all terrain including kerbs gravel and long grass and easy to put in van just purchased remote switch to switch my pumps on and off including static setup 100m range
-
2 types of remote fm and am (I think) one of them picks up interference from the pump motor and stops you switching it off, the others fine. You could try wrapping a mettalic jacket "faraday" cage round it if this happens.
-
Your pump should be horizontal or vertical ot the bearings will wear. How much better is it than a 2 wheel push trolley ?
-
the main reason i use the trolley instead of my old sack barrow is that it can take 75ltr and still very moveable trolley will carry 200kg easy

its a sealed unit and can operate either way up
